Cachalote Explorer Galapagos Yacht
The sturdy Cachalote Explorer First Class Yacht, which originally sailed Canadian waters, brings style and comfort to your Galapagos wildlife adventure cruise. This first-class vessel has everything you need for a vacation of a lifetime! Charming wooden interiors invite you to socialize with the other guests, particularly in the salon and dining rooms, where you will enjoy great food cooked to order by the chef, one of 9 crew members including a bilingual naturalist guide. Outside spaces include the sun deck, a main aft-deck and a viewing deck on the bow, some in direct sun and some shaded, so that you can relax and watch the scenery go by comfortably between visitor sites.
She offers a smooth and comfortable journey through the turquoise waters of the Galapagos National Park and, of course, with kayaks and snorkel equipment you can get your close-up view of the amazing Galapagos marine world. Maybe you’ll even see a Galapagos green turtle if you’re lucky! Varied itineraries are available, with the 6-day Cachalote itinerary seen as the top itinerary by many guests, whereas others prefer the farther-reaching itineraries that allow even more wildlife viewing opportunities.
Back on board, settle in to your comfortable cabins, refurbished in a clean white design with wooden and blue accents. All cabins have private bathrooms with hot-cold showers, independent air-conditioning units and either portholes (on the lower deck cabins) or windows (on the upper deck cabins). It is important to note that cabin #1 is a triple – great for families!
