Coral 1 & 2 Galapagos Yachts
The Coral 1 and 2 Galapagos yachts offer a tandem, high-quality, all-inclusive cruise experience in the Galapagos. Both have plenty of room to relax with three sundecks (some shaded); a Jacuzzi; a comfortable, wood-paneled dining room; and a lounge with fully stocked bars and picturesque windows. Meeting areas with TV and VCR are available, and the windows throughout ensure that you make the most of your journey. Meals are generally served indoors, but comments on TripAdvisor show that guests particularly appreciate the BBQ on board the Coral Galapagos yacht’s Moon Deck – it’s delicious al fresco dining with a fabulous view all in one!
The Coral 1, with room for 36 passengers, has a crew of 11, plus a cruise director and three naturalist guides. The Coral 2, for 20 passengers, sports a crew of 11, also with a cruise director and two naturalist guides. This substantial crew size means that the ship provides you with top onboard service and ensures that your group size at island visitor sites will be far smaller than the maximum permitted by the National Park. On our Coral cruise in Galapagos, you can choose from numerous activities, including snorkeling, kayaking, and – on certain eight-day itineraries – special dive options, which replace land excursions and are available for an additional cost for a minimum of two passengers.
For many, the best feature of the Coral 1 and 2 Galapagos expedition yachts is their variety of cabins. The Coral 1 has 18 cabins, divided among eight Junior Cabins, eight Standard Plus Cabins, and two Standard Cabins. The Coral 2 has 11 cabins: six Junior Cabins, four Standard Plus Cabins, and one Standard Cabin. All of the cabins have private bathrooms, air conditioning, and safe deposit boxes. Their modern styling, with wooden accents and carpeted floors, combines with numerous layouts, including available triplets and interconnections, to make them a great space to relax with your family or group of friends.
