Grace Yacht
Stepping aboard the Grace Galapagos Yacht immediately brings to mind history and romance. This is the luxury yacht that Aristotle Onassis gave to Alberto Prince of Monaco and Grace Kelly, his young bride and newly crowned Princess of Monaco, for use on their honeymoon. Recently remodeled, this 18-passenger vessel retains its traditional charm while offering warm and enticing facilities that keep modern travelers comfortable on whichever Galapagos itinerary they choose. The classically-styled lounge area has been updated with a flat-screen television for briefings and outdoor resting areas offer a great chance to soak up the sun and even to put your hands on the yacht’s original steering wheel. Delicious meals are served in the elegant dining room and the cruise director is always on hand to make sure you are well served. Most importantly, with a full yacht, the company commits to keeping groups to just 9 guests per guide when you disembark at visitor sites, making this an incredibly intimate Galapagos excursion, whether you want to take the best expedition photos or share some family time with the kids, who will take advantage of special activities designed just for them.
All of the Grace Luxury Yacht’s cabins feature sumptuous wooden detailing that highlights her historical character. Choose from 2 Master Suites, 3 Premium Staterooms, 2 Deluxe Staterooms and the newly inaugurated Grace Kelly Suite. The wood-paneled Master Suites offer queen size beds, private bathrooms and windows, as well as plenty of storage space for luggage and clothes. The Premium Staterooms provide a choice of queen or twin-sized beds, also with private bathrooms and are outfitted with portholes. The Deluxe Staterooms have queen and twin-sized options, private bathrooms and portholes. All have safety boxes and individual air conditioning controls. The Grace Kelly Suite provides extra luxury, with 3 windows on both sides with ocean views as well as more ample closet space and an additional seating area.
