Passion Galapagos Yacht

Anyone who ever wondered what it’s like to travel the world on a private yacht tour will find the answer on the Passion Luxury Yacht. Formerly privately owned, this exclusive yacht, the largest of its type in the islands, was refurbished in 2015 for use in Galapagos and now supports WildAid, an organization that works to stop illegal fishing and achieve a healthy marine ecosystem with sustainable fish stocks, with a $100 donation for each passenger that sails the archipelago. The yacht retains its character, with extensive teak decking and a sky lounge with a panoramic view of the archipelago’s wonders, but now offers all the comforts you’d expect as a modern traveler, including a jacuzzi, and a large, contemporary-styled indoor lounge area with flat screen entertainment system. Gourmet meals are served either in the beautiful indoor dining room or outdoors on the sundeck’s covered seating area. Special diet requests are honored and, when chartered, the chef even tailors meals to your group or – with the help of the fabulous crew, put together special hospitality events to honor wedding, anniversaries, birthdays and the like. With a 1-to-1 crew-passenger ratio, you can always expect to be pampered. Of course, the ship carries everything you need to fully take advantage of your journey, such as kayaks and snorkeling equipment. And with only 14 people on board, you only need one zodiac to get everyone ashore, which gives you more time to enjoy the visitor sites. Back on the ship, rest easy with stabilizers designed to minimize motion at sea and stop in on the open bridge to chat with the captain about the wonders of sailing the archipelago as you travel between islands.

Of course, you will really appreciate the exclusive nature of this luxury yacht when you step into your cabin. All the spacious Staterooms and Suites feature contemporary décor with full air-conditioning. What really will call your attention, though, are the holdovers from the yacht’s private ownership days: pink marble bathrooms, each with its own bathtub. And the Master and VIP suites even offer His/Her bathrooms for the ultimate in onboard luxury. Sleeping arrangements run the entire range from 2-twin beds, 1 full-size or queen-size bed in the staterooms to king-size beds in the suites, which also have sitting areas with their own HD televisions.
