PETREL

Luxury Catamaran

Petrel Galapagos Catamaran

The Petrel Luxury Catamaran lives true to her namesake: the Petrel, a common bird in the archipelago, known for being elegant, swift and silent at sea. This motor catamaran offers comfort and stability and a wide variety of itineraries, all of which can be combined to customize your visit to the Enchanted Isles to create your perfect Galapagos cruise. Whether you want to see magnificent frigatebirds or populations of land iguanas, the level 3 naturalist guides on board the Petrel will help you learn more about Galapagos natural history and geology. Kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and short wetsuits are all available onboard to round out your land excursions with exciting water exploration. And back on board, the ship’s luxurious interiors, with contemporary black and white décor and hardwood floors throughout, provide you with generous space for relaxing. If you prefer to stay outside, the large sun deck with a shaded jacuzzi, loungers and a bar beckons with its cheery ambience. And of course, the cruise director and attentive staff are dedicated to making sure you feel pampered. Finally, if you really must keep in touch with home or the office, the ship offers laptops and a satellite phone.

The Petrel Galapagos yacht has 9 cabins for 16 passengers spread out over 2 decks. The main deck offers 2 twin staterooms, and 2 double suite staterooms, while the upper deck serves as home for 4 convertible twin staterooms and one single stateroom. Unlike other Galapagos cruise options, the Petel does not charge a single supplement, making her perfect for solo travelers. All cabins feature private bathrooms and balconies, hardwood floors, comfortable beds with crisp, white linens with black accents, minimalist décor, and panoramic windows – even in the bathrooms. And the suites have an additional seating area, decorated with sophisticated yet comfortable furniture.
