Sea Star Journey Galapagos Yacht

The stunning Sea Star Journey Galapagos yacht has the look and feel of a top luxury cruise ship, carrying 16 lucky passengers around the archipelago in great style and at a competitive price. Her modern interior design features wooden floors, tastefully chosen furnishings, and panoramic windows to fully appreciate the gorgeous Galapagos views. Inside, she offers a dining room, bar/lounge, mini-library and video library. Outside, her fabulous solarium offers not one, but two Jacuzzis as well as loungers and daybeds in both sunny and shaded areas. The Galapagos Sea Star Journey received the 2017 World Travel Award for South America’s Leading Boutique Cruise. This first-class yacht was also featured that same year in National Geographic Traveler’s Luxury Collection.

For many guests, choosing a Galapagos cruise depends on numerous factors. One of them should be sustainability, and the Sea Star Journey has invested in brand new engines to improve fuel efficiency, as well as reduce noise and improve navigation speed and quality. Another crucial factor is service, where the Sea Star Journey Galapagos yacht excels. Her cruise director loves to indulge guests, and the ship is known for its upscale culinary offerings: South American-influenced, with farm-to-table produce when possible. The chef takes special care on flavor and presentation. Al fresco BBQ dining is an occasional offering and a new intimate dining experience for two on the back deck. It’s a romantic experience that can be reserved first-come, first-serve upon boarding (additional cost may apply). Special dietary restrictions can also be accommodated with advanced notice. Finally, it wouldn’t be Galapagos without adventure gear, and Sea Star cruise reviews congratulate the ship for having high quality kayaks, and snorkel equipment.

After all the excitement of Galapagos discovery, retire in style to one of the ship’s eight eye-catching suites, with brightly accented white color schemes and picture windows facing out to the ocean. The four main deck Galapagos Suites feature private balconies and two twin beds that can be converted into one king bed. The three upper deck Galapagos Suites are similar, except that they don’t have balconies. The significantly larger Sea Star Suite on the upper deck offers a king-size bed and a generous sitting area with a desk, as well as a mini-bar. All suites on the Galapagos Sea Star Journey have individual air conditioning controls, private bathrooms with hot-cold water, biodegradable amenities, and premium linens. There are connected suites for families with sofa beds and triple occupancy can be arranged on the upper deck.
